| With CoStar ↔︎ Zillow’s on-again/off-again dynamic, some of our clients are asking us to deliver tours that work natively on Zillow—which, for a portion of our Matterport portfolio, means converting to video or 360 virtual tours. We’ve only deployed 360 tours selectively (mostly new development), so I’d love to tap the community’s experience before we scale a broader migration plan. What I’m evaluating (at scale): 1. Ease of use / conversion (ingest, batch tools, export options, MLS/Zillow feeds) 2. UX / UI (viewer performance, mobile, hotspots, floorplans, captions, branding toggles) 3. Pricing (creator seats, hosting, per-tour costs, bandwidth/storage, enterprise tiers) 4. Product development (roadmap velocity, API/webhooks, support/SLA, integrations) Zillow-accepted third-party tour providers I’m considering: 3DPlans, Asteroom, AtHum, Beyond View, Biganto, CloudPano, CubiCasa, Cupix, EyeSpy360, Giraffe360, Go Prop Tech, Google Maps 360, Gryd, Helix Media, iGuide, InsideMaps, Inspection Express, IT49, KNTXT, Kuula, Labpano, LCP Media, Momento360, Nodalview, Panoroom, Peek, PlaceVR, PropertyPanorama, Real Vision, RealPage, Repli 3D, Ricoh, Sphere, The ViewTour Factory, TourMKR, TrueView360, VPIX, White Branch, Zillow 3D Home, zInspector. Ask to the WGAN community: - Which platforms have you found most reliable on Zillow (ingestion + display) with minimal rework? - Any gotchas when moving from Matterport (hosting, rights, broken links, MLS rules, EXIF/metadata)? - For larger rollouts, who has the best tooling for bulk migration, team permissions, and analytics? - If you switched, what was your total cost of ownership shift (hosting + labor + re-shoots)? - For new listings, do you shoot differently (panorama density, camera choice) to optimize Zillow UX? If it helps, I can summarize replies into a comparison grid for the forum. Thanks in advance for sharing what’s worked (and what hasn’t)! |

| @Jonathan_Klein So, personally I shoot Zillow's tours natively with a Ricoh Z1. That said I also have a CloudPano account which does offer compatibility to push to Zillow however this heavily relies on Google verified address's . I have used service to extract full resolution 360's from a matterport tour and rebuilt the tour with cloudpano. Will CoStar/Matterport chase this at some future date? Only time will tell |

| Currently Zillow's 3D home tours is my most shot platform, CloudPano I use for Vacant Land and other miscellaneous projects and I still shoot a fair clip of Matterport. I have a RicohTours account but, honestly haven't logged into it in a minute. | ||

| @Jonathan_Klein If you don't mind me asking why would you not consider Realsee? Realsee is rolling out new tools and expanding some of its existing tools. | ||

| @Jonathan_Klein I use Zillow 3D Home Tours exclusively, though I have done a couple Matterport tours upon special request in the past year. Zillow's tour are easy to capture, one scan per room using their app. The panoramas upload using my phone's hotspot connected to my iPad on my way home. The tour is usually ready to edit within 3 hours. The editing required to connect the rooms together takes about 15 minutes for an average home. The floor plan arrives a bit later in the day, which means I can send the entire media collection out the evening of the shoot. The Zillow tours and floorplans work together in their display interface to show where on the floorplan you are and in which direction you are pointing in the display. There is no hosting fee, the floor plan is free. And, Zillow gives preferred position in the search results for the first 7 days on the MLS. If someone favorites the listing, Zillow will send a follow-up reminder. These marketing perks are for listings that use the 3D tour and the floor plan. I shoot with a Ricoh SC2 camera that captures very acceptable quality scans. When Zillow generates the tour and posts it, the quality of the panorama degrades a bit. The capture process does not provide the ability to edit the panos before uploading. During capture, the ISO, exposure, and white balance can be adjusted. I admit that Matterport offers more flash with their tours, with blurs and tagging. When Zillow used to show the viewing time of the tours, the average viewing time for my listings was 45-60 seconds. People are moving fast when scanning through media, trying to decide whether to get in their cars to visit a listing. Zillow tours get the job done presenting the layout of the home. I find the benefits of the Zillow package to squarely meet the needs of viewers with their easy to capture, easy to edit, FREE platform. It fits the price-point of my media package, too. |

| Hey @Jonathan_Klein, Im the Director of Creative Operations at InsideMaps, Id love to chat further about our tech stack. Our 3D tour is easy to capture, using just an iPhone (Ideally a Pro as they have Lidar) and our HERO Rotor. Here is a sample 3D tour, with dollhouse. When it comes to hosting, we do not charge any recurring hosting fees, our pricing is a simple one-time transaction per scan/project. Unlike most competitors, InsideMaps provides full licensing rights to your content, so you’re free to publish anywhere, without restrictions or platform lock-in. |

| @PatrickInsideMaps that is a great improvement over the last four years the model posted here by far an improvement. I saw the features used to document a rental property or an estimator, what edit features do you have for real estate highlights? Can you extract full 360 HD photo and stills? |
