| Last year this cost me dearly. Google out of the blue starting charging me 1000$'s per month just bc I had maps via WP3D enabled. Very costly and awful experience. I thought I got that dealt with and today I received a message from Google saying that my WP3D API key needed restrictions or else it is going to cost me. This was part of the message; What you need to do Please take urgent action to secure those keys and avoid unauthorized charges in the future. Below, you will find more detailed instructions for how to secure each of your exposed Google Maps Platform keys. Project: WP3D (wp3d-.... Does anyone know how to fix this for good? I don't want anything to do with paying for access to Google maps (which I thought I already fixed). And I am forever moving away from WP3D. Having that cost me a lot of money. This is some of the most confusing stuff for me to deal with as an old timer. |

I have yet to try mapbox but, their is an option to switch out to mapbox in the settings Panel |

When it comes to WP3D I wish they would really clean up the unbranded view ~ I had requested this a # of years ago but, they don't seem to care enough to update a clean looking display ~ I even sent them a moch-up |

| I had a very similar experience with the API key/Google maps/thousands of dollars in fees. After numerous back and forth, Google admitted that my API key was improperly, accessed and reversed all of the payments that they had charged me. I will dig up my screenshots of my messaging with Google. I actually got someone on the phone at some point, I was out of my effing mind. May I ask what map solution you ended up using with WP3D, as I do not include a map with my website at this time. I did a couple of commercial scans in Greenwich Village in New York City, and included them on Google maps… Slamm Bam Wham and thank you ma’am Can I still use Google maps, I’d love to know how to do this |
