Hi All,

Do you use an iPhone to do Matterport digital twins?

How does that work for you? (which iPhone are you using?)

(Just watching the Apple live event. The iPhone 14 line of cameras will process faster.)

New iPhone 14 will be able to shoot in lower light!

If you are using an iPhone to do Matterport digital twins, will that be helpful to you?

I currently have an iPhone 13 Pro Max & I find the screen too small for marking features ~ While it can be done I do not find it optimal

Would your iPhone work in a pinch?

@DanSmigrod

I have used my iPhone so, yes it can be done.

My iPhone is also where I run beta capture as it isn't my primary capture device.

Apple just announced Apple iPhone 14 + satellite (for when you have an emergency and there is no wifi or cell service).

I could imagine doing a Matterport scan where there is no WiFi or Cell Service. So, this could be helpful for Matterport Service Providers.

I use my iPhone 12 Pro to shoot all but the largest models. I find it handy for the capture process. The downside is marking features, which is more tedious than what I experience on my iPad Pro.

Wow! Apple app helps you point the iPhone towards the satellite!

Wow! Text alerts via menu driven emergency notes.

@DanSmigrod

I have shot many off the grid properties ~ This would would be nice incase of medical emergency but, would do nothing to benefit any capture

I hope he is doing better.

I could imagine someone experiencing a stroke while having no WiFi and no G5.

This past weekend, I was in the Georgia mountains where there was no cell service.

If the hardware is the same in both Pro phones this year I am debating on the smaller phone simply for gimbal balancing with lenses
