My guess they should not. Matterport won't replace a shift lens in anyway.

I’ve been an architectural photographer for 45 years and I’ve had as much success w MP as w anything. It does not replace anything, it’s an add on. One problem w arch photo is describing the relation of spaces to one another. W/ MP you literally walk between spaces. It will not replace anything in the quiver of arch photographers but sure is a huge addition.
