OK someone call me crazy, but is it even remotely possible to do a 400K sqft venue?

I'm saying no. This would need to be an interactive map with inlaid MP tours right?!?

Thoughts?

@Joelbcollins

✓ What is the use case?
✓ Why would a client be willing to pay for 400,000 SQ FT?

Based on your use case and why client is willing to pay, there may be a better solution to achieve the same result for less money.

I would try and break it up into two or three tours.

for a convention center. I got a call from some agency contracted to do the tour. My guess is this guy over promised before doing his homework or due diligence.

@DouglasMeyers

That is what I recommended but the guy was keen on having one tour/model.

Understanding the use-case by the agency is key to quoting on this project.

I would not quote on a project of this scale without that understanding.

It's super-unlikely - would not want the business risk - promising one Matterport Space.

(There are other solutions for larger spaces. Again, what problem does the tour solve. Then, you will understand the value and decide if you even want to invest the time quoting on this project. Careful about an agency wasting your time.)

@Joelbcollins Do they actually want the doll house or do they just want the walkthrough tour? You can cut out large spaces of area by just scanning down one side of a large room. You can always add 360 further into the rooms.Not knowing what the space actually looks like that is what I would advise.
