I guess the reason to do Matterport in this case, as opposed to a 360 tour, would be to have the superior, flowing walk-through experience that only MP provides (to my knowledge/experience), wherein you can't jump through walls and you understand where you are in the building.

1 yearGladsmuir (642): Hi @Olegred, You need a design programme to open them. In this country a lot of engineers and architects use Revit, and there is a Matterport plugin for Revit. It is not straightforward however, Revit and its sibling softwares are not easy to pick up, so it is not a case of loading the files and having a look. If you know an architect or engineer who uses the programmes it would be a lot easier to ask them to demonstrate how it works. Oliver

And that was for my friend who was patient. I cannot imagine telling it to my clients that it may take weeks. Considering we are dealing with hi tech anyone can imagine they have either GUI for it or at least can do it manually in a few seconds/minutes but they does not seem to care helping fast...

We can do leveling to 16K x 8K pano now with our code right after the pano was generateed(16k x 8k for Pro2) , no need to ktransformou only need the leveled panos and their location information to rebuild the tours. 5 yearsHome3D (3710): Placing 360s into a MP dollhouse display is pretty easy. It's done in the Capture app prior to upload / rendering. Yes, you can go back later and place them and "re-upload/render" if you forgot to initially. I've done that! As long as it's the same model, MP does not charge you again.
