	Video: Ordering Matterport Capture Services for Enterprise \| Video courtesy of Matterport YouTube Channel \| 12 May 2021 Transcript (video above) Amir Frank: Hey Matterporters, for those of you who enjoy all the features offered in [Matterport] Capture Services for enterprise, we have a tutorial that we think you'll find very helpful. In this video, I show you just how quick and easy it is to order a Matterport Capture Service. Let's get started. You should have already received a link to your personal [Matterport] Capture Services ordering form provided by your Matterport representative. Your form may look slightly different than what I'm showing you here, but the process and the fields are very similar. Amir Frank: On the Capture Service form, fill out every field, starting with your personal details. The form must be completed by the professional who is requesting the virtual tour. We'll be using your email to schedule the capture appointment. So be sure to double check that the email you entered is correct. The company named field might be pre-populated. If that's the case, move onto the next section. If that field is empty, please enter in your company name. The broker office name and location fields are optional. You can input the name of the building or property we're capturing. You may also leave the broker office name and location blank. In the Matterport cloud account email field, be sure to use the email address that is linked to your Matterport account. After you verify the correct email, fill in the complete property address for 3D capture. Amir Frank: If you're the onsite contact and will be at the property on the day of the capture appointment, select yes from the dropdown menu and move on to the next section. If you're not going to be onsite for the capture so that no, from the drop down menu and enter the onsite contact information into the next fields. Please note that this person will also be included in the email to schedule the capture appointment. We ask that cell phone numbers are provided instead of any office landlines or any other company phone numbers. Amir Frank: In certain cases, you'll be asked to select the number of spaces you want captured from the dropdown menu. Each suite, unit or space is considered a single 3D tour. Select the number of tours you want captured at this particular property. You will then need to provide specific information for every space, including the unit number or name of the space, as well as the exact square footage for that space. Select your preferred date and time. This helps our scheduling team understand your timelines, but the actual date and time of the capture appointment will be based on the technician's availability. If there are any important notes to share with the Matterport scheduling team or capture technician, fill out the additional notes or access information box. For example, important notes may include a lockbox code, instructions for parking or details on where to meet the onsite contact. Amir Frank: This is also a great opportunity for you to let the technician know about unique property features that must be captured or avoided. Once again, just because it's worth repeating, be sure that your location is 100% ready. 3D models cannot be edited to clean up a dirty kitchen, dust a bookshelf, hide sensitive information, or personal photos or anything else that does not present well to the public. And if you need a little help, Matterport will provide you with a checklist for prepping the property. Amir Frank: Finally, on the day of your appointment, the only other task for you to complete is a simple meet and greet with your capture technician. They'll take care of all the heavy lifting. The time a capture technician spends on site will depend on the square footage of the property. But the average time onsite is between one and three hours. Every scan point captured will then be uploaded to the Matterport cloud, and that is where the complete digital twin of your property will be created. Turn around time varies from property to property, and it's typically based on square footage. Larger models do take longer to process, but the average turnaround time is 48 hours for your property's digital twin to be uploaded to your account. Please note that very large digital twins, larger than 10,000 square feet, may require more than 48 hours to process. Amir Frank: The digital twin will be transferred to your Matterport account only after it has passed our quality assurance process. You'll receive a confirmation email once the digital twin is in your account. And once the digital twin is in your account, there are a variety of ways you can customize the model and we highly encourage you to customize because this is a real experience for your clients. Although- when I re-read our email from Jeffrey Fong it still seems awfully cryptic.

I THINK that this is their vague way of telling us they are going after individual brokers now.

Here is what we received:

Tomorrow (5/13) we will be launching a brand new channel for Capture Services allowing Matterport subscribers to be able to order Matterport models in an "on-demand" fashion, creating a new channel for this program. This product will be running in parallel to the Enterprise jobs you are currently receiving.

What does this new product entail?
Easier access for paid Matterport subscribers to order a scan
New channel and increased volume for Capture Technicians
New platform to create a more efficient way to receive jobs
The first few versions of this product will be a limited release in certain markets, so our team will reach out in the coming weeks/months to begin onboarding with your team if your market is within that release.

	So, they are going to go even harder after retail customers. Their long term plan is to eliminate MSPs and just have contractors who scan for them.
