So, I had originally been using ChatGPT to write prompts for another software provider but, I simply told Chat I would be staging a series of 15 images![]() ![]() |

| You can describe the furnishings that you are looking for but, I find especially for re-sale real estate the general neutral furnishing work well | ||

| @Queen_City_3D here is the prompt ChatGPT generated: Tool: built-in image_gen Tool: built-in image_gen Photorealistic real estate virtual staging. First image is the EDIT TARGET, other two images show the SAME ROOM for spatial understanding only. Produce only one staged image matching the FIRST photograph exactly in viewpoint and framing. Furnish this family room in warm contemporary neutral style: large simple oatmeal upholstered straight sofa floated opposite the existing TV cable wall, its back toward camera; large ivory subtly textured rectangular area rug; low oval natural oak coffee table with a small ceramic bowl and books; two matching tan upholstered accent chairs on the window side of the seating group facing inward toward the coffee table; slim natural oak media console directly below a black flat screen TV placed over the existing wall cable hookup. Muted sage and cream sofa pillows. One small oak side table with ivory ceramic lamp beside sofa on the side away from window. Realistic scale, comfortable clear circulation behind and around seating, and clear paths to stairs and doorways visible in supporting images. Preserve all architecture, walls, floor material, ceiling bulkheads, recessed lights, sconces, windows, blinds, outlets, and room dimensions exactly. No remodeling, no new windows, no changed camera perspective. Keep original photographic lighting with believable furniture contact shadows. No text, no watermark. This is a consistent arrangement that must be reproducible in the next two views. Edit FIRST image only: empty family room 3185 is the target. SECOND image is the furnished SAME room from another viewpoint, a strict furniture and placement reference. Reproduce exactly that furnishing arrangement in the FIRST image's camera viewpoint: oatmeal straight sofa with back toward camera opposite TV wall, ivory rug, oval oak coffee table, two tan armchairs along window side, oak media cabinet and black TV on cable wall, oak cylindrical side table and ivory lamp at sofa end away from window, matching plants and decor. Keep same furniture design, count, colors, physical layout and scale as reference, translating perspective naturally. Preserve FIRST image's exact room architecture, ceiling, lights, window blinds, floor, framing and camera viewpoint. Do not copy reference camera angle. Photorealistic real estate staging, natural shadows, no text or watermark. One image. Edit FIRST image only: empty family room 3190 is the target. SECOND image is furnished SAME room from another viewpoint and is strict furniture and placement reference. Produce a single staged photo from FIRST image's exact viewpoint with stairs on left intact. Reproduce reference furniture and physical layout: oatmeal straight sofa floated facing the TV cable wall, back toward foreground, ivory rectangular rug, oval oak coffee table, two tan upholstered armchairs on window side of seating, oak low media cabinet with black TV above, oak cylindrical side table and ivory ceramic lamp at sofa end nearest stairs, tree near window/TV wall corner. Same designs, decor, colors and count as reference. Translate perspective to target; do not copy reference framing or move furnishings to unrelated walls. Maintain generous unobstructed circulation to all doors and stairs on left. Preserve FIRST photo architecture, entire staircase, doorways, ceiling bulkheads, lights, sconces, window and blinds, floor material, dimensions and original framing exactly. Photorealistic, natural integrated shadows. No text or watermark. |

| I have been working with virtual staging since Dan Smigrod introduced it here a couple years back. Recently I found a platform that does a decent job of staging a room from multiple angles. (REImagineHome) I shot a condo about three weeks ago that was not staged and really needed some help - walls and floors were a light tan with very little to create visual interest. Instead of creating only one staged view of a room, I sought to explore if I could stage the entire condo so it could be adequately showcased with the staged photos. The staged set ended up being 19 photos, with two angles of each room plus a couple single views of the hall and porch. Some of the pics show two rooms by using the reference photo from the single view of that room (dining and living rooms) by creating a layered staging using multiple sequential prompts. With prompts, decor items like plants, towels, clothes in closets, rugs, wall hangings, even washer and dryers, can be added to really dress up a room. The staged pics can be viewed on the Show and Tours property page for the listing here as an example of what can be done. Link to staged photos The work for 21 photos (two were not selected by the realtor) required 110 prompts. I expended 30 prompts in the living room alone trying to get the furniture located similarly. Frustrating! But the bedrooms took only a couple prompts to get the second view nailed using the reference photo from the initial view of the room. Run through the staged photos at the beginning of the gallery, then view those same room photos without staging and tell me - doesn't it make a difference in presentation impact??? I use AutoEnhance.ai to process my HDR brackets with a custom preset bump applied in Lightroom. Editing in minutes instead of hours... |

| @Dataventurer images out of ChatGPT are a bit small however for the little input in I believe the output to be a salable product ~ I typically will bring the original and ai generated images into photoshop and do a quick image mask and or slightly tweak the colors a bit | ||

| There are a few companies close to cracking the code I believe on multiple angle staging... they aren't quite there yet. My wish list is for all ai staging/editing to not destroy the images. not generate things that aren't there (without a prompt telling it to do so of course). keep the file sizes/quality in tact, keep metadata in tact, and accurate edit and/or VS images. @lilnitsch the examples you provided are great... I was almost convinced until I saw the differences in the sofa cushions. now I can't not see it thanks for sharing.. i'm excited to see what is coming next. |

| All.. take a look at this thread if you haven't seen it. Would you deliver these multi-angle virtual staging photos to a client? |
