How much to charge for 360 car interiors shot with a Ricoh Theta Z1?13665

Hi All,

Does anyone know the pricing range to charge for 360 car interiors? We have been asked to do a small project and would be using the Theta Z1.

Thanks,
John.

Here's a tip. Most people are doing interior 360 wrong. The vehicle should be lit and on if not too shakey , set to nav or main screen on radio, interior lights on, one shot just in front of steering wheel able to see instrument cluster clearly, other forward of center arm rest so you can get a good view of the radio and other things like climate dials etc. Passenger seat back, to see it all, center console, towards driver, dash.

Price depends on volume probably. $40-75

@AerialWayz

Building on @GETMYVR pricing ...

While I do not shoot interior car 360s, if I did, I would probably ask myself the following questions to help me decide on pricing:

1. What problem does an interior car 360 solve and how much is that worth to the client?
2. Is this a one time project? Weekly? Monthly?
3. What is the weekly volume? Monthly volume?
4. What is the deliverable? (I could imagine that you need to host the 360s.)
5. What is my time worth? What are the recurring costs (such as hosting)?
6. How long do the 360s need to be hosted?
7. How can I simplify pricing? Examples: 1) price per car; 2) flat monthly recurring fee; 3) Other?
8. What do others charge?
9. Is this a test and learn project? e.g. If they learn that they can sell more cars for more money?
10. How might I make the shoot super-efficient? (e.g. a special rig to insert the camera through the window?
11. What else should I be thinking about in pricing the project?

Does this help?

Please let us know what you decide and why.

Happy holidays,

Dan
